S. Truett Cathy founded and opened the first Chick-fil-A restaurant in Atlanta in 1967. Leading a life that was centered on biblical principles and family, Truett applied generosity as a business model sharing his life, his passions, and his skills to be a positive influence on every person he met. At South Nevada Avenue, we believe in “Making a Difference” for our team members, our guest, and our community.
In 2017, Chick-fil-A was proud to award nearly $9 million in scholarships to more than 3,400 team members.
